Our success in hosting events of various sizes and types throughout the year, has earned the Gold Coast an enviable reputation as an events destination. The St John Ambulance Cadet Program on the Gold Coast provides youth services for interested young people aged from 8 to 18 years.

Cadet and Junior members of the Division attend training meetings and learn first aid and life saving skills and knowledge, and assist adult members to provide valuable first aid services at public events.
Cadet members also learn life skills such as self-discipline, team work, communication, and inter-personal skills, which help them to develop into contributing members of the greater community.
As a youth group, St John Cadets engage in a wide range of Interest Badges, including Personal Safety, Casualty Simulation, Map Reading, Driver Education, Campcraft and Knowledge of The Order (of St John).
