Currently a registered paramedic, Liz has over 12 years experience in nursing and for the East Midlands Ambulance Service dealing with all pre-hospital emergencies.
Clare is a qualified social care practitioner with over 17 years experience in the care sector. We have worked with some fantastic schools and companies , below is what they say about us.
If you have attended one of our courses and would like to leave us a testimonial or feedback please click HERE. I would recommend this course to others and the training company to other employers looking to run a similar courses. We had a group of 50 trainees who all left positive comments about the day and the training. Jake made the learning expirience fun and had a thorough knowledge of his subject and a reasuring manner. Thanks very much – for the resource and also the highly informative EVC training this morning.

The course was very informative, I learned alot, developed some new skills and left feeling confident within myself to carry out First Aid. We brought the Strong Roots Team in to help us organise and staff a busy stand at an extremely busy outdoor consumer exhibition in London and I am so glad we did. I cannot praise Strong Roots enough for the professional manner in which they have trained our staff over the last 18 months. Both Jake and Skippy were fantastic to work with and made the learning experience very enjoyable. I wanted to write to thank you for training our 20 staff at Glenmore Lodge last week.It was very well received by all and we look forward to working with you again in the future. Felice is a state registered paramedic with over 25 years of operational experience in the NHS Ambulance service.
Teresa has also been a First Responder for East Midlands Ambulance service attending 999 calls in a rural part of the community. From the planning, to the delivery of the courses, nothing was too much trouble! The trainers were all very knowledgeable, knew how to get key points across and made it interesting.
The skills needed and which were covered were useful for work but also for  personal situations. From the start of the enquiry to the end of the training session nothing was too much trouble. I requested some specific training for our lunchtime supervisors within the day and this was accommodated.

So often people only get in touch to have a moan or complain but I really found this morning informative and engaging. Jake was pretty cool, making the whole course feel very laidback, his approach at the practicals had us all laughing while learning.
They shouldered so much of the logistics, managed the event in general, and basically took care of the hundred and one things that needed to be taken care of in such a calm and professional manner that I have little hesitation in bringing them back to help us at future events.
Their knowledge and expertise has meant that we now have a group of teachers who have successfully completed the Countryside Leaders Award and relevant first aid qualifications.
We now feel ready to use our qualifications to enhance the provision of our students at school.
He started his teaching career as a part-time tutor at both Tresham College and the Workers Education Association working for Adult Education, Healthcare and Science departments. I would definitely recommend Strong Roots to any organisation considering this kind of training and I will certainly be using them again in the future. If we did have any queries he found ways to explain things in a different manner, or by giving demonstrations.
