Course description: Provide CPR is practical hands on four hour course with no pre-work required.
Course outcome: Participants who successfully pass this half day face to face Provide CPR course will receive a Nationally Recognised HLTAID001 Perform CPR Statement of Attainment in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines which is valid for 12 months. Assessment requirements: To pass this course participants are required to successfully complete practical and written assessment.
Please arrive 15-minutes before the scheduled start time so that your Catch Training facilitator can check your ID and sign you in. Ensure you read our Pre-Course Information Provide CPR If applicable and our Student Handbook before booking as it contains our booking conditions. This course will show you how you to remain calm and focused in order to provide crucial First Aid in an emergency while waiting for services to arrive. This course is conducted by our trainer Vanessa who, in addition to being a fabulous First Aid trainer, is a paediatric nurse and a child and family health nurse. The aim of our service is to offer a helping hand to individuals in Staffs, who might not have the basic skills in some areas they may need to progress and start their journey into work. The aim is to get individuals in the Community back into learning with some short courses specifically designed to encourage and nurture a sense of achievement to give confidence for moving onto higher level courses.
