Linda then started to take the necessary steps she learned in class to help warm the dog and then quickly transported him the veterinary emergency hospital. A digital certificate is issued upon successful course completion with anytime, anywhere access to certificate and training history.


Pet owners may also take a Red Cross Pet First Aid course so they can practice the skills and receive feedback. The veterinarian explained that due to the quick and proper actions she took, the dog survived.
