COASTGUARD and lifeboat crew try to reach mum-to-be and second person stranded on a beach in rain-lashed Devon. A PREGNANT woman and another person are believed to be trapped on a beach following a landslide.
THE 73-year-old man was given CPR after being rescued from the Firth of Forth, but later died at Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary.
The landslide is said to have blocked Smugglers Tunnel at Ness Cove, near Shaldon, in Devon.

It gives peace of mind for parents and childcarers with all the essential items for family trips within an easy to carry bag.
Teignmouth inshore lifeboat, Brixham Coastguard, Devon and Cornwall Police and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are involved with the rescue. Fire spokesman Paul Slavin said the two people a€“ along with a dog a€“ are not thought to be injured. Mother-of-two Susan Norman, 68, was killed when her home in Looe, south-east Cornwall, was hit by a landslip in the early hours of Friday.
