We are not just teaching this course from a classroom, we are teaching it from a living classroom because we live with these systems every day of the year. We have developed these methods over years of trial and error, and it has been a long journey and we have consulted and taught what we have learnt and are still learning on projects across the world.
We have worked on projects in all climates, landscapes and landscape profiles adjusting to the local requirements. We can help you to understand how to get started and get to where you want to be because we have been in the same position ourselves and we can share that journey of failures and successes, trials and errors. This is a highly practical Permaculture plants nursery course to be held in the education centre and plant nursery on Zaytuna Farm, home of the Permaculture Research Institute.

You will learn how to develop the ability to source information on plant propagation, through an awareness of industry terminology and information sources. This course is a practical Permaculture Plants Nursery course that focuses on plant health, potting mixes and soils, production efficiencies, and more. Plants are a critical part of a permaculture design as they are needed in vast numbers within cultivated ecosystems. These are particularly valued skills that will develop a foundation on which knowledge can be built. Clients have included private individuals, groups, communities, governments, aid organizations, non-government organisations and multinational companies. These include graduates of the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course and courses focused on the practical design of sustainable soil, water, plant, and legal and economic systems. With the farm under constant development and seasonal variation, projects vary and change throughout the year. An early bird discount is available if the course fee is paid 21 days prior to the course start date.
If you're booking early, take advantage of our Earlybird Special and receive $200 off your fees. Geoff first took his Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course with Bill Mollison in 1983.
