IntroSo here i will go over a strategy that will teach you how to get to a minimum of level 30 on DOME. Right below is a link to my other hub teaching the basics and going over which weapons should be used in survival mode, and the strategies that can be applied to ALL the maps. How to get to high levels In Spec Ops Survival mode On Call Of duty Modern Warfare 3 ( MW3 )So this guide will teach you the basic strategies that can be applied to all of the survival mode maps throughout spec ops on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
The set upSo if you read my guide on survival mode in Call Of Duty you will see the classes and all the stuff that you should carry to get yourself ready to get far in the game, but if this is the first thign you have looked at i will go over everything, and sum it up real fast. First off, Light machine guns are crucial, no other weapon will be as good, as using a light machine gun, they have large clips, and as far as replenishing ammo you will get biggest bang for you buck. Keeping a quick revive is very important in survival mode, along with flash bangs, and a riot shield squad. The strategyThe benefit of dome on survival mode is that you can easily run in a circle at later points if the juggernauts are forcing you to move, but if you save money, don't waste it, and can manage to keep everything stocked up you should have no problem taking them out effectively and quickly. When helicopters not carrying juggernauts come in, you should try to take these out at the beginnings of rounds, or as soon as they come in. AssAssin11 4 years ago if u stay in the big building near the air support box with a bunch of riot shield dudes, u can get to round 35 simple!!!
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Haha, that's why the self revive is key. Kyle 4 years ago My personal favorite is camping up the at the some dish, I found it most effective for killstreaks, headshots and really any other.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Yah self revives are the extreme key to getting far. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author What ill do this weekend where i will be off campus with no internet, but will have my 360, is ill look into some solo style maps, and see what i can do, although i typically stay away from solo as this is much harder to do, and i usually always play with my teammate, and if hes not online im keeping my spot in the leaderboards for multiplayer. T 4 years ago Thanks and another thing which gun and atachments do you use in multi or which gun you think its the best for multi? Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author And i do have my solo guide in the making, just got the maps cleaned up, and marking the spots, should have my guide up and running by monday. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Thanks, appreciate it, it took a lot of effort, work and time, so im glad it was appreciated by those who ask for it. Anonymous 4 years ago Im going 2 try between equipment and guns armories cuz it seems 2 be best.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Yah, whatever works best for you, i am here simply to assist those who need my help, if you think you can do a better way, i say create an account an publish it, and monetize on it, but i am simply here to help those who need the help i can give.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Well, keep in mind, if your looking up a strategy then you need help, and most people need the basics to start.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Well the difference between the person spending time to reach level 80, and me writing these.
Axisian Oceanic 4 years ago I have been playing solo and with a partner and find the catwalk around the dome to be the easiest area to camp. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author I do have a solo guide for dome, but the reason i do not like the catwalk at all is because you can get shot from anywhere where the enemy is on the map from the catwalk, and your very exposed on helicopter rounds, i honestly do not see you making it past level 30 on the catwalk. Shifty 4 years ago I did catwalk with friend and u lie down and u can see them climbing ladder.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author That can be a good strategy, but at late rounds you will have a lot of trouble with this strategy, so just be careful. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Could work, Personally I don't mind the dome strategy, and I believe on my solo play map that is what I tell everyone to do, but for team play I don't like the strategy as much, as i find there are better places to go.
Brett 4 years ago just out of interest, what is ur average earning a month for one hub ( im sure u have lots more but just want to know)? Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Thanks for commenting Bowtie, I feel that level 105 is an awful lot for solo, but may be possible.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Helicopters take you out way to easily up there, and you can get stuck and easily die. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Glad my guides have helped, and especially thank you for commenting and reading. Wew 4 years ago I Appreciate the Strategies, Their really good however I do not prefer the Camping spot, What if a helicopter comes?
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Wew, you always take helicopters out as they come in. Tips for Seatown on survival mode in spec ops, on Call Of Duty Modern warfare 3 learn how to get far! The MapSo first let me go over what the icons on the map means, and then i will move along to the strategy that you should follow in order to get to high levels on this map. The StrategySo following this strategy you should be able to get to high levels fairly easily. Before i get to the actual strategy let me say, i suggest reading once again my guide above on making it to high rounds, as here i will only tell you what to use, but in that guide i will give you reason to using that. The person near the stair case should begin by crouching at the top of the staircase, this will give you good movement, plus allow you to take the enemy out one by one as they run up the stairs after you. Overall with each person facing each way you should have no problem making it to high levels.

352First-Person Shooter Online GamesTips for Resistance on survival mode in spec ops, on Call Of Duty Modern warfare 3 learn how to get far! Anonymous 4 years ago Not 2 bAsh u or ur map but I don't understand y u shouldn't put a sentry at the top of the stairs I think it could help a lot but I'll try it ur way 2. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Well because when your playing with 2 people putting a sentry there is useless as not a lot of people come this way, and even if they do, it really is not more than you can handle.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Good Strategy, and i like your placement. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author if you are referring to how many waves there are, then there are infinity, the game continues until you die. Jack 4 years ago Both players lay down prone on the rail outside the room with the red x and square staircase. Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author I'll try it out and let you know what i think, should work not to badly.
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Yah, try the sentry guns, they can only help, and congrats making it that far, you are maing it further then a lot of others.
Boba Fett 2112 4 years ago My friend and I make it to wave 60+ (81 is our record) all the time, staying in the other building (across this building, one ladder and set of stairs inside, room with all the computers inside) Great area!
Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Yes each method works best with team work. Wraith 4 years ago Well, I've usually used the 'camp the 2nd floor room' type of strategy provided, but I found a different one! Zain smith 4 years ago Me and my buddy drake got to level 54 using pretty much the same strategy!!! Johnrr631992 4 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author Congrats, it is a good spot for the most part, and glad you had luck.
Wraith 3 years ago You know, I would really appreciate some feedback on my strategy (the one with the faulty AI path coding). Johnrr631992 3 years ago from Tampa, Florida Author As I said on the other guide you osted a huge strategy for, I need to get back to MW3, and try a whole bunch of strategies, and I will definitely try yours. Emiller37 2 years ago In the building right behind you when you start out you get two normal sentry guns and go upstairs to put them in the outdoor part but still in the building. It will go over where you should camp, to what the best setup is and what you should be carrying. Turrets are very important and if you can get grenade turret over a regular one tat is better.
If you go to the top of the map, right outside where the big building is, this area is where you should spend you time.
This will make your life a lot easier when the juggernauts come in, or when you need to escape fast.
If you find a way to make the dome work, that's great and all power to you, but personally from my perspective, buildings can only hurt you on this map. YOu should after a few rounds see what i mean, and should be able to aim your turrets to best suit you.
As of now i haven't done solo, so i can't just throw strategies out there and hope they work, i have to test them first. Is I am getting paid every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to have these hubs published, and to write more, and with 1000+ google views a day, the income is not bad. On higher levels i place grenade sentries behind the overturned forklift which is BEHIND the dome. If it does that is great, my stuff is here to assist you, if you ave any questions about other maps just feel free to comment on them, and I can help. I also wish there were some other upgrades you could get that would make things a lot different playing wise. If two players are shooting at them, it is very easy, if only 1, then you can still take them out in a half of LMG clip, while your teammate is defending. If so, try to take the helicopters out first, while circling the map and keeping everyone behind you. It does not matter which turrets you buy and place here but this is the best area to place them, i will explain this later on. They represent where the players should stand, which as you can see is upstairs, with 1 person in each room. You should have no problem at all covering this area and will have a huge advantage overall.
You have a little more work to do, but with the turrets beside you, it should not be that bad. Below i will include links to my other hubs that will teach you the tips and tricks needed to get to high levels on the other survival maps. I will try this out, and if it works with me and my partner a lot better than ours, ill add second portion or adjustments to my guide.
Sounds like a good strategy, should work, and ill try it out, and let you know what i think. The only gun in MW3 I can think of that has "pp" in it is the PP90M1, which isn't such a good survival mode weapon. I will not use nay of my own, because i know how those work, so I will be trying the once I have yet to try. To be honest I have been really busy with work, and vacation ad haven't had time for much of anything..

You will be camping more specifically at the big entrance to the cave ( the middle entrance that is blown out). With my way you have 5 options, the building, the path to the dome, all three entrances to the bomb shelter.
As soon as possible by turrets and place them at the back entrance ladder at the top, to take out anyone attempting an attack from over there.
I write my guides for people who need general help, and if someone is level 50, and really good, they can follow your strategy, but i wouldn't just suggest it for anyone.
What i may do is make 1 guide and go through each map for solo in maybe a paragraph or two and post a pic for each map, because if i do a separate hub for solo it will confuse people who click form google, and could create a lot of hassle.
I could write 60+ level guides, but those could be to complex for my general audience, so i keep them simplified.
But as far as playing until level 80, i would rather spend 5 hours write 5 hubs, and make money, than spend 5 hours playing call of duty, to try and get on the leaderboards, when in reality the top 200 people are usually glitchers or hackers, and you will not be seen anyway.
Yes they can hurt you, but when you operate this strategy correctly everything tends to fall into place. After you kill the helicopters, then you can slowly lay into the people coming at you until the end of the round. Since you are elevated all the enemies will have to follow a certain route, and this will put you at an elevated advantage.
Basically each round you should start off by each being in position, with one person facing the window by the turrets, and the other person in the room near the staircase. So what you should do is worry about the window first, and take out all enemies that build up right outside the window.
This is right near the grenades, and right between the kill streaks, and ammo box, so this is a good place to camp. Then go to the left side, go prone, and start picking them off as they go up the ladder, when an attack helicopter comes, retreat to the buildings interior and take them down using it as cover. I only use extended mags, silencer, and holographic scope on my guns, but if im not using FAD, then im using ACR 6.8.
They will not flank you through the tunnel. The second crucial part - both players can sit behind their sand barriers and throw flash bangs into the kill zones. Keep in mind that even my best hubs took months before they got the rankings on Google they have now. Those are the steps set the tuuret back to back protect them while u run around the map this works on any map.
Second off, there are plenty of escape routes for when or if you get trapped or need to get away from juggernauts. After the window, then you should also be watching the turrets as well, so the enemy does not build up to much on the turrets.
Also you will face one turret towards the building where the kill streaks and the other facing towards the paths leading from the ammo box. And at high levels when you need 5+ rounds to kill 1 enemy, and have 25 enemy coming at you, unless you are using sleight of hand, and even so, way to much reload time is wasted, and you will be getting bogged down way to quickly. The third part is there is limited ways of getting to you, If you place the turrets where i have shown below, and go where i show, you will have no problem stopping all enemy troops from coming after you.
This can get you to 36 easily on single player, and much higher when done with two people, with skill.
Each flash bang = 3 second stun for all the enemies in the corridor (therefore each player carries 12 seconds of stun) so they are held in place while your sentries demolish them.I have really over simplified this.
I *think* I get the general gist of what you're saying, but it is rather hard to understand.
When choppers come one person moves sentries into the dome while the other lays claymores in openings of bunker where we wait for the enemies near the air support exit of the bunker. Starting from the restaurant door closest to the equipment box, place 5 C4s with enough spread that you get the area by the door (outside of it, of course), behind the yellow car, and behind the green car. Those are where the enemies will crowd, trying to throw frags THROUGH the wall at you. While facing the same direction as the sentries, hug the left wall and move up into the corner. As well as another grenade turret on second story with the first one. When jugs come i wait till they hit the top of the stories and. YOU have to shoot them, the sentries will NOT because they apparently think they might shoot you.
Place 1 on the ruined doors facing the stairs, and the other immediately to the left of it facing the well. Go back to the usual corner and deal with the ground enemies first (like you usually would). If you REALLY need to visit the killstreak box, do it while on the run during a juggernaut round or leave 1 enemy alive and run for it.
If you end up near the Air Support box, buy another Missile at the end, and refill ammo, if you have time, otherwise wait..
