It’s a place where men can share their skills and develop new ones.  Add to this as much tea and coffee as you want to drink and the companionship men get from working shoulder to shoulder and you’ve got the makings of what our Men’s Shed is all about. The new men’s shed located on the Roe Mill Road in Limavady, is now registering new members for its project.
The projects are open to men all men who may be retired, unemployed, or suffering from mental health issues or a physical illness.

Ageing Well Roe Valley provides funding and support for community groups who support the elderly and their carers.
This project will build on services currently provided to tackle unmet need and establish preventative projects. Having a risk factor does not mean that you will get cancer; not having risk factors doesn't mean that you will not get cancer.
A history of the patient’s health habits and past illnesses and treatments will also be taken. Cancer cells break away from where they began (the primary tumor) and travel through the lymph system or blood. The cancer gets into the lymph system, travels through the lymph vessels, and forms a tumor (metastatic tumor) in another part of the body. The cancer gets into the blood, travels through the blood vessels, and forms a tumor (metastatic tumor) in another part of the body. For example, if transitional cell cancer of the ureter spreads to the lung, the cancer cells in the lung are actually ureter cancer cells.
