Today, after 20 minutes on the elliptical, I hopped off and made up a brand new cardio circuit workout that took me about 30 minutes to complete.
Let me just say that the 30 seconds of rest between each exercise simply flew by and I felt like I was moving around like a madwoman. I also liked this workout because it was a primarily cardio-focused workout and I didn’t want to do a circuit that worked my arms or legs too much since I just did workouts that focused on strength training on Monday and Tuesday of this week. We did a pretty good job of going through the eggs in our fridge this week and only have one little guy remaining, but he should be okay through Christmas since eggs take a while to expire. Today’s morning meal included two fried eggs, served atop a toasted bagel with muenster cheese and raspberry jelly.

Before we get to my “What I Ate Wednesday” eats, I thought I would share a challenging, sweaty, QUICK summer workout! Now onto food…Since coming back from a weekend away, this week I have been focusing on drinking LOTS of water, eating fruits, vegetables, protein, and healthy fats.

Hot yoga is definitely not meant for everyone and I have a few clients who get light headed or sick! I actually REALLY like the jump rope and I have one now, I finally got one so I will get to do this circuit. Hot yoga on Tuesday morning not only kicked my butt physically, but I can definitely say that I am 100% detoxed after that sweaty hot mess!
Just listen to your body and do it when you can or choose a style that works better for you. I’m not sure why I never thought to put avocado and salsa on a hard boiled egg before…genius!
I agree that the mix of jumping rope and other efficient activities mean you will lose a lot of weight in a short time.
I have a lot to say about the book – particularly the ending and my thoughts on Esther – and can’t wait for the discussion on January 4.
My boot camp crew did this on Monday evening, in between their other circuits, and they ROCKED it! I made sure that I was constantly hydrating, since hot yoga was so intense, and this warm weather can easily dehydrate you.
