These would be great with ketchup (no good for low carb unless sugar free) or even as a vehicle for spinach artichoke dip (low carb legal…yay!) When finished, bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes (or longer if you're skipping the frying) until puffed and slightly browned.
To lower the calories, use half and half instead of heavy cream, and substitute a lowfat cheddar.
