Facebook Twitter Reddit EmailSeems that IHG Rewards Club is again having some system issues for posting stays correctly to member accounts.
I have seen some reports on the net, have had couple of stays posted as non-qualifying and have had readers contacting me as well. That’s definitely not true as I booked 21 days advance discount rate, best flexible with breakfast and best flexible.
This turn I had no problems with big win till now…last turn it took weeks till everything was corrected.
The reader had booked 21 days advance purchase rate, best flexible and best flexible with the breakfast and had received the same reply that the rates are too discounted for points. So, the only paid rates that could be non-qualifying are locally negotiated rates outside of Asia Pacific.  Locally negotiated rates with discounts less than 30% in the Americas are eligible as well.
I have no doubt that IHG Rewards Club will fix my stay and the reader’s too, but shouldn’t these be posting correctly in the first place? And as is always the case, I am not really blaming the employees who are sending out these replies. Is there a way to get them to manually adjust things like the Big Win and other promotions that were signed up for? Does anyone know if the Ambassador weekend certificate rate should be posted as 1 or 2 eligible nights?
I used the Ambassador weekend certificate in April 19th and it posted as you say, 1 stay 2 nights.
This happened to me too, best flexible with breakfast posted as non-qualifying stay – very annoying!
I have been having problems with IHG when they failed to add 10000 Rewards Club Bonus Points to my IHG membership card. You may request to speak with the Customer Relations as well that should get your call connected to a someone in the US. I booked an AAA-rate that posted as non-qualifying; called the center and they fixed it immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you as we value your patronage.
I stayed at Candlewood Suites for 2 nights a little over a week ago (last week of Big Win promo) and haven’t seen the points posted. Was my last stay for the BigWin bonus though – so pretty annoyed especially as the deadline passing.
All my Non-Qualifying nights relate to award stays which I thought now counted towards status. It is another issue with the award nights because they do post as non-qualifying but should count towards the requalification. Follow-up to my own post, I had a stay at a CP last Saturday, my last needed Q Stay for the spring BW, even paid an extra $10+ to get 5k more points…. MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Qualifying non-profit organizations will be allowed to purchase certain city-owned, tax-foreclosed properties for $1, under legislation approved Tuesday, September 23rd by the Milwaukee Common Council and authored by President Michael Murphy, with the co-sponsorship of Council Members Russell Stamper, Robert Bauman, Willie Wade, Nik Kovac and Ashanti Hamilton. At the same time, efforts to market such properties will receive additional support from private real estate brokers. Last November, the Common Council directed the Department of City Development to establish a nine-month trial program that would select five real estate brokers to market up to 100 tax-foreclosed properties. Legislation approved by the Common Council directs DCD to select five more brokers to participate in the program, for a total of 10, and allows them to market all 1,000 of the foreclosed properties currently owned by the city. Alderman Murphy said this legislation will work well together with the resolution authorizing $1 property sales to qualifying non-profits, improving upon the substantial headway made over the last year in selling city-owned foreclosed homes. Qualifying non-profits must be a registered 501(c)(3) organization with demonstrable experience in residential renovation. The first one was fixed after filing the points discrepancy form on the website, but the other one just received the following reply.
I already send a points missing request to IHG and got only a stupid replay that my rate is so discounted that I don’t earn points. Do the IHG “care” employees in the Philippines check out their brains when they start working? Points will be awarded for Qualifying Room Rates booked through IHG central reservation offices, IHG web sites, travel agents or directly at the hotel.

Why the IHG “Care” employees don’t even look at the rates used, but rather just copy paste the dumb form reply that the rate is too discounted?
I wonder if IHG is just posting everything as non-qualifying for a few days to reduce the number of points they are giving out… doubt most people will notice or care to request the missing points.
If you or any of your readers have the IHG Rewards (formerly Priority Club) do you have a problem getting the 10% point rebate posted?
According to the rep, this is really a fix, not a point credit so that Big Wins will be triggered automatically. Should you require further assistance, please feel free to contact the IHG Rewards Club Service Center.
Some of the property and equipment that does not qualify for the Section 179 Deduction is listed below.
Real Property is typically defined as land, buildings, permanent structures and the components of the permanent structures (including improvements). While the Section 179 Deduction offers a tremendous advantage to small businesses across the country, it is up to you to ensure that any deductions you are taking are within the legal requirements of Section 179.
Alderman Murphy said other adopted legislation that he co-sponsored will expand a pilot program that has met with significant success. DCD reported that, as of mid-July, the real estate brokers selected in a Request for Qualifications had sold 67 properties, with 18 more offers accepted pending closing. But under file #140635, which was also approved Tuesday by the Common Council, qualifying non-profits can pay $1 to acquire a property that has been on the market for at least 60 days, as long as the city’s asking price for that property is not greater than $20,000. Buyers are required to show proof of financing for renovation work prior to closing, and the property will be subject to real estate taxes if the buyer maintains it as an investment.
In addition, in North, South and Central America and the Caribbean, points may be collected on locally negotiated rates if these rates are discounted less than 30%.
Performance is likely measured by the number of replies they sent out in a hour without any consideration for the quality or correctness. I also emailed Ambassador service regarding my incorrect postings which they fixed but one. I was lucky to have my last stay in April to also be triggering my last Amb Accel before it went away. This time the stay posted incorrectly as ineligible and I have to contact the customer care to fix it. Other examples of property that would not qualify for the Section 179 Deduction include paved parking areas and fences. In addition, there are IRS tax forms and also tools for you to use, such as the free Section 179 Deduction Calculator currently updated for the 2016 tax year. Turns out someone had used my account on a stay in India (most likely someone having the same name as me that stayed there), so they said my third was non qualifying since it was an overlapping stay. Now my problem is that I paid an additional night at the same intercontinental (from 21 to 22nd April) and it posted Non-Qualifying just as this report from John. I have completed all my Win Big challenges, but I’m still waiting for the actual Big Win points to post. I called them, told them I haven’t been to India etc, and they fixed it while I was on the phone.
