I have seen some reports on the net, have had couple of stays posted as non-qualifying and have had readers contacting me as well. That’s definitely not true as I booked 21 days advance discount rate, best flexible with breakfast and best flexible.
This turn I had no problems with big win till now…last turn it took weeks till everything was corrected.

So, the only paid rates that could be non-qualifying are locally negotiated rates outside of Asia Pacific.  Locally negotiated rates with discounts less than 30% in the Americas are eligible as well.
I have no doubt that IHG Rewards Club will fix my stay and the reader’s too, but shouldn’t these be posting correctly in the first place? And as is always the case, I am not really blaming the employees who are sending out these replies. Is there a way to get them to manually adjust things like the Big Win and other promotions that were signed up for? Does anyone know if the Ambassador weekend certificate rate should be posted as 1 or 2 eligible nights?
I used the Ambassador weekend certificate in April 19th and it posted as you say, 1 stay 2 nights.
This happened to me too, best flexible with breakfast posted as non-qualifying stay – very annoying!
I have been having problems with IHG when they failed to add 10000 Rewards Club Bonus Points to my IHG membership card. You may request to speak with the Customer Relations as well that should get your call connected to a someone in the US. I booked an AAA-rate that posted as non-qualifying; called the center and they fixed it immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you as we value your patronage.
I stayed at Candlewood Suites for 2 nights a little over a week ago (last week of Big Win promo) and haven’t seen the points posted. Was my last stay for the BigWin bonus though – so pretty annoyed especially as the deadline passing.

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Qualifying non-profit organizations will be allowed to purchase certain city-owned, tax-foreclosed properties for $1, under legislation approved Tuesday, September 23rd by the Milwaukee Common Council and authored by President Michael Murphy, with the co-sponsorship of Council Members Russell Stamper, Robert Bauman, Willie Wade, Nik Kovac and Ashanti Hamilton. At the same time, efforts to market such properties will receive additional support from private real estate brokers. Last November, the Common Council directed the Department of City Development to establish a nine-month trial program that would select five real estate brokers to market up to 100 tax-foreclosed properties. Legislation approved by the Common Council directs DCD to select five more brokers to participate in the program, for a total of 10, and allows them to market all 1,000 of the foreclosed properties currently owned by the city. Alderman Murphy said this legislation will work well together with the resolution authorizing $1 property sales to qualifying non-profits, improving upon the substantial headway made over the last year in selling city-owned foreclosed homes. I already send a points missing request to IHG and got only a stupid replay that my rate is so discounted that I don’t earn points. Do the IHG “care” employees in the Philippines check out their brains when they start working? Points will be awarded for Qualifying Room Rates booked through IHG central reservation offices, IHG web sites, travel agents or directly at the hotel.

Why the IHG “Care” employees don’t even look at the rates used, but rather just copy paste the dumb form reply that the rate is too discounted?
I wonder if IHG is just posting everything as non-qualifying for a few days to reduce the number of points they are giving out… doubt most people will notice or care to request the missing points.
