Pregnancy at 40 after miscarriage, multiple ovulation over 40,naturally pregnant after ivf pregnancy induction - PDF Review
19 Kids and Counting‘s Michelle Duggar revealed she and husband Jim Bob Duggar are actively trying to expand their family — for the 20th time. Less than two years ago, Michelle and Jim Bob suffered a miscarriage during her second trimester.
With a more advanced maternal age and such complications during her previous two pregnancies, it’s even less likely 47-year-old Michelle could conceive or carry a child to full-term. I think what people are so worried about is the fact that the second to last child almost passed and then last child DID pass and the likelihood of this child surviving has become increasingly less.
All they say is were are praying about considering adoption, or when we have seen an orphanage we feel bad for the kids that are there.
While I think these people are a little over the top, their kids seem to be good people, so I figure whatever they want to do is up to them. If you know that sex causes pregnancy and you are actively having sex without trying to stop pregnancy, how is that not trying? My medical knowledge comes from my BS in Biology and my BS and MS in MEDICAL Laboratory Science.
If she was my mom, I would be extremely nervous due to her previous health problems during pregnancy.
Does Michelle Duggar ever seem to enjoy any of the kids (or grand kids) she has past babyhood? It’s like she has a mental disorder with the need for more children and the attention that comes with. I get their reasoning on the no birth control thing, but after having 19 kids, two previous complicated pregnancies, and at their age, why would they actively TRY for a 20th kid? I feel like people are forgetting that Michelle not only had serious complications with baby Josie, and lost little Jubilee well into the second trimester, but she also has given birth 19 times and had one other previous miscarriage. No, they have their own children, specifically their oldest girls, to care for their children. If she chooses to have another baby knowing she has complications it is still her choice to make.. She is not only risking her own life, she is risking the life of every unborn child she is actively trying to have. So if this potential pregnancy ends in very badly, who exactly is going to care for the multiple small children they already have? I really think Michelle has some weird obsession with being pregnant and all the attention that comes with it, as well as having a newborn. She has already had several breakdowns, like with the laundry after baby #7 and with the second set of twins. Why would you keep trying for more children when you’re more than likely to miscarry every pregnancy you have from here on out?
PHOTOS Kailyn Lowry kissed a girl and everybody freaked outTeen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry enjoyed some down time at JerseyPride in Asbury Park, New Jersey over the weekend. Since this list isn’t full of good news for women who want to get pregnant after age 40, we’ll start with a resource to help women get pregnant naturally, plus words of hope from the British Pregnancy Advisory Service. You Can Get Pregnant Over 40, Naturally by Sandy Robertson describes tips for overcoming infertility and recurrent miscarriage in your later years. In the case that another pregnancy isn’t meant to be, Michelle said she and 49-year-old Jim Bob will be fine. Its like whoever wrote this article watched last nights episode, and decided that was the whole story as the word adoption wasn’t mentioned.
They haven’t even started the process and seeing as it can take a while, if it were a real option for them, they would be waiting for their adopted baby. Timing may not have worked in her favor in the past and it is now, and that’s nice for her. They have never said they have looked into adopting, had a home study(they sure would not pass one), or looked into any forms of adoption spefically, they give the same statements over and over, we are praying about it.
They follow a sect that believes that adopted children carry the sins of their birth parents and therefore are tainted. My brother, who is half Greek, has worn a fustanella (google, since they wont let me post links). Girls need to have long curly hair so men look at their face not at their boobs or crotch (if you were pants). That is a LOT to put your body through, especially considering how close in age most of the children are.
They think they can completely ignore science and if God wants them to have more kids they will.
If you think either adult in the situation is actively caring for their children, you apparently have never watched their show. Too bad her religious beliefs don’t allow mental health help or even if they went to a real church (they home church) so she could have a pastor or some support.
I have a feeling that her well-used uterus will take in and evict a couple more before her reproductive system shuts down completely. Just days after current Atlanta cast mainstay Stevie J accidentally spilled the tea on the newest city to get a LHH spinoff, a handful of independent sources appear to have verified most, if not all of the new show’s cast members. During the festivities, Kailyn posted a snapchat of her smooching long time friend Becky Hayter and the Teen Mom Twitterverse predictably lost its mind. She developed a specific pregnancy protocol, which she used to conceive multiple times over the age of 40.“Over the past few years, we have seen much scare-mongering about older women’s fertility,” says Ann Furedi, chief executive of British Pregnancy Advisory Service in Biological clock not a time bomb after 40.
But when you already have 19 children, the want for another is more like an addiction than just wanting another kid.
They’d never pass the background, home study, checks that adopters have to go through. She will more than likely miscarry or she will give borth prematurely or to a baby with health conditions. I also find it pretty selfish that they want to have more, because from what I’ve seen, the older kids take care of the younger ones, not their parents.
I always felt like skirts are less modest (I went to catholic school and guys would always try and look up your skirt on the staircase).
The uterus gets thinner with each pregnancy, hers has gotta be like piece of paper by now. Yes science says too many births can cause serious issues and its true but it is still her choice.
Their way of caring for their 19 kids has been to pawn the youngest kids off to the oldest, for a long time. Her eggs are old, her uterus is worn out, and her heart has been overworked from all the pregnancies.
Isn’t that their whole thing, that God will bless them with a baby if that’s His will? Plus, if things continue to go well with daughter Jessa’s courtship, there may be more grandchildren in the near future! I am capable of having children of my own but my husband and I hesitate because there are children out there without parents. They are TRYING and they are potentially playing Russian roulette with ssomeone’s life.
If she was just a 47 year old trying to have a baby, that wouldn’t be anything to talk about. She is putting her unhealthy obsession with pregnancy above the health and needs of her children. Does that mean the older daughters would basically be stuck at home raising their siblings for years? If you’re over 40 and you don’t want to get pregnant, use contraception until after menopause. But the fact that she has already given birth to SO many children, and her last pregnancy ended to tragically, it makes me nervous for their whole family if she does indeed get pregnant again. I know Jim Bob likes to save money but I hope Michelle gets good medical care when she is not pregnant.
A 12 year old girl being told to care for 3 toddlers at a time just because she’s being told to… While her mommy and daddy make bank on the money that TLC pays them!
It just seems like such a selfish risk to take to me, considering what happened in her last two pregnancies. The earth is overpopulated and plenty of children do not even have food, a basic human right. She’s a grandmother 3 times over now, why not just accept that and enjoy her grandchildren and all the future grandchildren she’s sure to have!?
You need to know that this list of potential problems for pregnancy after 40 isn’t a prophecy for you.
I don’t know much about their religion and maybe if I did I would understand their thought process a little better. It is risky yes but that is something they are taking into consideration and they believe in their faith so I say who cares..

This increases the likelihood of a forceps or vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery or a C-section.
