Amanda Lawler '12
Psychology Major Gender & Women’s Studies
Amanda is a co-president of Amnesty International, Active Minds and Psychology Club. She is also an intern at the Dorothy Day House, a shelter for homeless women who have been recently paroled or affected by substance abuse, mental illness or domestic violence.

Julia Grant '14
Sociology Major & Anthropology Minor
 Julia created her own service program called Melody at Hand where she tutors children in piano and music theory. She has also been on two trips to the St. Francis Inn soup kitchen in Philadelphia. She is a retreat leader for Campus Ministry and a regular attendant for the LMC Sandwich Makers.

 

Andrew Dearing '12
Psychology Major
Andrew is a member of the Le Moyne College Sandwich Makers and swims with handicapped children through the Le Moyne Swim Team’s collaboration with Family Capped Inc. He also leads the Weekly Examen meditations based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.


Kaitlyn Mullahey '14 - Psychology and Special Childhood Education
Kaitlyn has been involved in Amnesty International and Projects in the Community. She is a volunteer at Vincent House through Catholic Charities. She also went to Dominica and to the St. Francis Inn with Campus Ministry. Kaitlyn also helped organize various independent service/ social justice events across campus as an Ignatian Solidarity Network (ISN) representative for LeMoyne. She is in the process of creating her own Social Action Initiative as a product of the ISN Leadership Summit to strengthen the bond between Le Moyne and the Cathedral Academy at Pompei through a literacy support program. 

Matthew Carey '13- Biology Major
Matt has been on many alternatives break trips which including trips to the Preble St. Resource Center, the St. Francis Inn, Bridgeport CT for Habitat for Humanity, and Quito, Ecuador. He is the president of the Le Moyne College chapter of Habitat for Humanity. He organized the first Habitat for Humanity fundraiser called "Shack Attack" at Le Moyne where students built and spent the night in wooden shacks.
