Le Moyne students take it upon themselves to help others who cannot help themselves. Since the college’s inception in 1946, Le Moyne students both past and present, have volunteered for a variety of service works both on and off campus. This long-standing tradition of service is based on 16th Century Jesuit ideals that promote societal improvement and personal self-discovery. Students today embody these Ignatian ideals in the service work that they do for others. By doing so, they learn a little more about themselves and help make the world a better place in any way that they can.
