Mantras for confidence are like a nectar you can pour into your subconscious, where it will ferment and bubble into intoxicating levels of self esteem and general awesomeness.
When you use a mantra for confidence you essentially train your mind to learn to think in positive ways.
Here is a selection of excellent mantras for confidence that are not spiritual or religious, but which are nevertheless very powerful. Okay, so we’ve covered the English mantras for confidence and some Buddhist mantras for confidence. Enlighten your subconscious with subliminal music, meditation & hypnosis to live a better life!
For as is indicated in the law that changes not, the manner in which ye treat thy fellowman, ye are treating thy Maker. We all want to live a happy life and have a right to do so, whether through work or spiritual practice. To be contented human beings we need trust and friendship, which tends to develop much better once we realise that all beings have a right to happiness, just as we do. In today’s interconnected and globalized world, it is now commonplace for people of dissimilar world views, faiths and races to live side by side.
A compassionate community will not be achieved only through prayer; I pray myself, but I accept its limitations. We need to strengthen such inner values as contentment, patience and tolerance, as well as compassion for others.
We all have the potential to show others love and affection, but as we progress in our materialistic world, these values tend to remain dormant. We need to be clear which emotions are harmful and which are helpful; then cultivate those that are conducive to peace of mind. If someone behaves negatively towards you, it helps to remember that he or she is a human being like you and to distinguish between an action and the person who does it.

Letters, or photographs which people might meditation hall, but also in the kitchen, the toilet. A mantra must have three qualities to hold the restless mind steady, to energize it, and to transport it to subtler realms. Generally, spiritual organizations polluted the mantra system by fabricating them by adding name of persons (may be considered as incarnation by popular media) into the mantra. Some may think that meditation is a kind of spiritual lesson, a religious act or some kind of asceticism. You can sit cross-legged on the floor, or try sitting on a chair if you find the floor too uncomfortable. Some people, when they first start to meditate, are so keen to make rapid progress and they add too much force. The awakening of the kundalinii can be interrupted by a single stroke of an effective mantra. When the mantra vibration strikes the sleeping spiritual Source within the individual, it awaken the sleeping energy. From the time you have selected the mantra, the more frequently and intensely the spiritual aspirant repeats it, the more the kundalinii rises under its vibrational impact.
Sri Amit Ray in the Book Om Chanting and Meditation beautifully explained the details of Om meditation and AUM chanting.
Just listen to your inner voice and select a sentence from the list and chant it silently throughout the day.
Meditation involves focusing the mind on a certain objective or thing or thought by shutting out the disturbing external stimuli. Mantra Meditation involves chanting of a mantra, which in most instances are composed of Sanskrit letters which are so arranged so as to evoke a certain response from within the individual. Mantras can also be any word which evokes a sense of calmness, inspiration, and even respect, such as repeating the name of their God, or anything else.
Usually the best ways in which one can practise Mantra Meditation is by sitting cross-legged on a sheet or cloth on the ground, and chant the mantra by beading the rosary of 108 beads with concentration, perseverance, and dedication.
A mental activity, Mantra Meditation is the best way to ease stress and tension in our lives.

Interestingly, the word ‘suffer’ comes from a Latin root meaning ‘to carry’.  Do we continue to carry around with us our bitterness or feelings of being wounded?  Or can we let go of these emotions and get on with our lives?
Meantime, the other person, people or system is unaffected by our anger or unhappiness.  Chances are, they are getting on with their own life, completely oblivious to our thoughts or feelings. What’s more, our preoccupation is using up the only commodity that is finite – time – preventing us from focusing on more positive, useful and enjoyable activities. Stories constantly appear in the media about people who have been offended by slurs against the race, religion or sexual orientation with which they identify.  The chorus of outrage and condemnation that follows may be well intentioned, but it seems to me that a subject vital to our wellbeing is often completely ignored – the ownership that the offended person has of their own feelings of offence.
The truth is that we can take control of our own mind.  Step by step, we can let go of negative cognition and bring our suffering to an end. Learning to let go of past hurts may be difficult.  But not nearly as difficult as not learning to.

We come back to our senses – what neuroscientists call ‘direct’ mode, as opposed to the ‘narrative’ mode when we are focused on our own inner narrative. Focusing on what is happening around us, we are put back in touch with the rhythm of the natural world. Our awareness of the fragility of so many life forms, how their very survival hangs, moment by moment, in the balance, quite naturally awakens our compassion. Sincere thanks for the gorgeous lion image to Claudia Schnell, who will be our host again on this year’s Mindful Safari! Significantly, there is a small and elite group of people in the West who have been serious practitioners of mindfulness for well over a hundred and fifty years: sommeliers. A sommelier is expected to recognise three different elements of appearance, three of nose, and five different aspects of taste, sweetness, acidity, tannin, body, flavours (e.g. Here’s a suggestion: next time you have wine-quaffing friends round for a meal, get in a couple of alternative options of the same varietal, print out the tasting notes from the bottle for them to read, and offer the options to your friends in glasses with different coloured ribbons on the stems (one of you will have to know which ribbon represents which wine).  A blind taste-test is a wonderful way to experience the joy of winefulness and a great start to the evening! Why is it that ideas can have such power at particular moments?  Is it the ideas themselves?  The way they are expressed? There is something very special about meditating in an open setting in Africa, with the dawn chorus of birds in the trees around us, and the primordial sounds of the bush – the whooping of a hyena, or barking of a kudu.
Morning meditation was followed by coffee and cereal, fruit or rusks – a South African standard, and my own favourite start to the day! Because Makalali is a wildlife conservancy, not a zoo, you have to seek out the animals, and from one day to the next you never know what you’ll find. Even on quieter game mornings, the extensive knowledge shared by our hosts Claudia and Robin, and our game guides, Patson and Frank, was truly fascinating. One morning, Patson demonstrated how burning elephant dung is a traditional remedy for headaches.
After the morning game drive, we’d return around 11 am for a hearty brunch prepared by the lovely Lucy, who catered wonderfully for all dietary requirements.
Learning how to cultivate this mind of awareness carries through beautifully when we get onto the back of Land Rovers and head into the bush.
Around 7 pm we would return to Xidulu to relax by the campfire, enjoy a glass of wine, and wait for another gourmet meal to be served. Mindful Safari only happened thanks to a lot of hard work from a co-ordinated team of people. I gratefully acknowledge Claudia Schnell and my wife, Janmarie, for some of the photographs used in this blog.
And if you’re interested in reading some of the insights gained on Mindful Safari, I will be blogging about these in future weeks – please click the Follow button on the bottom right hand of your screen now! Firstly, the message of a mantra resonates within your mind and creates associate thoughts. There are confidence mantras in English, in Hindu, Buddhist, Vedic, Yogic and in many other spiritualities. I know personally that when I suffered from depression and anxiety I felt that I was always inwardly rushing while achieving nothing outwardly. I know personally that I have a terrible habit of making everything unnecessarily difficult, as though I’m just attracted to drama. Thus each individual soul-entity meets its ownself and must give an account for the deeds done in the body and in the body-mind.
I’m subject to destructive emotions like anger and jealousy the same as you, but we all have potential for good too.
What makes human beings different is that we have a powerful intelligence and a much greater ability to achieve happiness and avoid suffering. We need to take action to develop compassion, to create inner peace within ourselves and to share that inner peace with our family and friends.
Keeping in mind that it is expressions of affection rather than money and power that attract real friends, compassion is the key to ensuring our own well-being.
We can develop them on the basis of common sense, common experience and scientific findings. Often, due to a lack of knowledge, we accept anger and hatred as natural parts of our minds.
If counter measures are needed to prevent someone doing harm, it’s always better to do it with a calm rather than an agitated mind. The sense of relaxation associated with inner peace involves not only being physically at ease. Use these free images for your websites, art projects, reports, and Powerpoint presentations! Thus, a correct process of meditation involves the production of immense psychic energy through intense love on the mantra. Different sounds have different effects on human psyche.
It must be generate positive vibration, should not be associated with person dead or alive, it must be of one or two syllables so that it can flow rhythmically with the breathing. Later, you can apply the principles learned during sitting mantra meditation to the practice of meditation in any other position; walking, standing or lying down. The important thing is to keep your body relaxed, finding the best position that allows you to sit still for a long time without the risk of falling asleep! A mantra is a collection of sound waves which can produce a powerful resonance, or sympathetic vibration, in the mind. In the process of investing a mantra, the guru raises his own kund’alinii to the highest point, sahasrara chakra, and then repeats the mantra, giving it intense spiritual energy. Positive affirmations cause the subconscious mind to attract success and improve your life. It helps to sooth the mind and clears away the numerous impinging problems and worries that cloud it from time to time.

The vibrations of such mantras are extremely effective in creating a very significant change in attitudes and mind-set of individuals. One is audible Mantra Meditation, also known as Vaikhari Mantra, which includes repetition of mantras in whispers and even audible pitch, and the other is the silent or mental Mantra Meditation which is also known as Manasika Mantra. When practised correctly, Mantra Meditation makes our lives peaceful, calm, and evokes happiness from within ourselves, both from minds and souls.
Abiding in nature, the restrictive, separate self we often assume ourselves to be in everyday life, falls away from our focus.  The truth is that we are part of nature, as it is of us – only most of the time we are so distracted we don’t recognise the basic reality of our inter-connectedness. Instead of the schedule, deadlines and imperatives of our 8 – 5 life, we observe the birds, animals, insects and plants operating according to the timeless principles of our own primordial past. Instead of focusing on the problems we personally may be facing, we cannot but become aware of the far greater existential challenges faced by other beings with whom we share the world. With a very much broadened perspective, we return to our own lives with a fresh appreciation and feeling of gratitude for the great many things we take for granted.
The variety of digested plants and roots eaten by elephants produces a smoke which you then inhale. In other words, if you spend ten minutes reciting a confidence mantra you’ll feel the effect for a long time. Essentially, if you say “I am an awesome person” 108 times, your mind will start to find ways in which you really are awesome. Reciting these mantras changes your internal frequency, changing your thoughts, moods and emotions. To begin with, let’s take a look at some non-spiritual confidence mantras in English. When you go slow, take your time, appreciate everything and express gratitude you achieve a much more positive state of mind. However, our existing education system is oriented towards material development; neglecting inner values.
Warm-heartedness and concern for others are a part of human nature and are at the core of positive human values. Real happiness and friendship come not from money or even knowledge, but from warm-heartedness.
Peace and warm-heartedness can then spread through the community just as ripples radiate out across the water when you drop a pebble into a pond. The response to the recent tragedy in the Philippines is an example of how such values are awakened; people helped simply because others are suffering and in need of support. If a soft sound of rain rustling through leaves soothes our nerves, the musical note of running stream enchants our heart. By controlling the movement of breathing, you can gain control over the life force; by controlling the life force, you can control the mind. Normally, it is not known the exact mental state of that person (the so called incarnation), which is having enormous effect on mind and body. When you sit for meditation, you should sit in a posture which will help you to achieve tranquility quickly. Taking care of your sitting position at the beginning can greatly improve your ability to meditate effectively.
When you first start to meditate, it is worthwhile to remind yourself that seven year old children are some of the most successful meditators in this technique, because of their playful and innocent attitude towards the meditation. Prevalent from ancient times, Mantra Meditation has been in vogue and practised by all religions such as Hindus, Christians, Muslims, and others to enable them to experience peace, calmness, and tranquillity in their minds and life. One of the ways involves mental chanting or repetition of mantras to ease one’s stress and tension.
Manasika Mantra is considered to be extremely powerful as it involves the complete focusing of the mind and hence, once achieved, it tends to obstruct any outside influences from disturbing the mind. Consequently we lack a clear awareness of the inner values that are the basis of a happy life.
To reduce our destructive emotions we strengthen the positive ones; such emotional hygiene can contribute to a healthier society. If the person (the so called incarnation), was having some diseases that may affect you, your relatives and the environments. Meditation is a science it is a  way to train the mind to focus clearly, and can also be an effective way, whenever you so wish, to relax your body and mind.
If sadhaka has more bio energy and more experience to use this power, he can use this sankalpa for well-wishes to others.
I am passionate about meditation and healthfood and immensely fascinated about consciousness. The relaxation gained from alcohol, drugs or just listening to music may seem attractive, but it doesn’t last. I have found my life's meaning and now I spend my time sharing my insight and wisdom for a balanced, happy and harmonious living. I enjoy helping people to improve themselves through the articles and products of this website. Often the spiritual organizations are using Gurus to earn money and to spread their business.
