its services andpopularity in
Romania to the extent that it now
boasts awhopping97 routes to 15
countries from its eight airports in
the country! The newest addition is
Iasi, witha route from Iasi toVenice
Treviso (

) launching on20
December, whichwill be followed
by Iasi toMilanBergamo in
February 2015, and Iasi to London-
Luton in June2015. Ticket prices

Not only hasWizz Air added oneweekly
flight to its existing services fromBudapest
and Bucharest to Tel Aviv, but theWarsaw-Tel
Aviv service has also been reinstated earlier
than expected.Wizz Air’s Daniel deCarvalho
says that there is a growing demand for
routes to theMiddle Eastern city: “We’re
looking forward towelcoming ever more
passengers on our greater number of flights
from Tel Aviv with the low fares that our
customers love,” he adds.
Wizz Air adds two newDutch cities to
its ever-growing destination list:
Groningen andMaastricht
On28October,Wizz Air launched new routes
to theNetherlands – the low-fareairline now
offers an impressive 18 routes to threeairports
in the country. The flights are twice-weekly
fromKatowice to the south-eastern city of
Maastricht, and fromGdansk to northern
Groningen. Prices start from€19.99 oneway.
Groningen andMaastricht are both
dynamic, lively destinations, and have plenty
to offer new visitors. HistoricGroningen
may surprise you – often thought of as
just a quaint and pretty town, it’s fast
becoming one of Europe’s most enterprising
destinations, thanks to its young population
and start-up culture. Maastricht has a
reputation as theNetherlands’ foodie
capital, largely because it has fiveMichelin
stars – a fantastic achievement for a city
with only 120,000 people.

routes,” says Diederik Pen,Wizz Air’s Chief
OperationsOfficer. “We are certain that our
passengers from Polandwill enjoy visiting
theNetherlands, whileDutch travellers can
discover more of Poland by flying on one of
our newAirbus A320s.”
