What luggage is the WIZZ team
taking on their next t r ip?
I’ve just booked my summer
holiday: I’m going away
to Crete for a whole week
of sunbathing, swimming,
relaxing by the pool and
eating out. I can’t wait! I’ll be
taking checked-in baggage so
I can pack my sunscreen and
cosmetics without worrying
about liquid restrictions. And,
unlike other airlines, Wizz Air

My husband and I are heading
to Barcelona for a three-day
weekend at the end of April.
With my pale skin, a big bottle
of sunscreen is an absolute
must, and given the restrictions
on liquids in cabin bags, I’ll
need a checked-in bag. I
promised not to shop too much
so we have opted to save our
money to spend on sangria
and pack just one checked-in
bag. With a 32kg allowance, I
think we can manage! Insider tip:
don’t fold your clothes, roll them
and save lots of space! See you
on the beach in Barcelona!
The one thing that I often
struggle with on short-haul
flights is finding a big enough
space in the overhead
compartments to fit my hand
luggage. But with Wizz Air’s
new baggage policy, it’s so
much easier – people are
more conscious of what size
baggage they take onboard,
which means there’s much
more space. For a €10
additional fee I’ll be taking a
larger cabin bag (up to 56 x 45
x 25cm) on my next Budapest-to-
Geneva flight to bring back gifts
for my friends and family.

The next business trip I
have planned is a series of
meetings with suppliers in
London. I’ll be flying from
Gdansk to London Luton. I
need to try and fit as much
as I can into one day, so I’ll
be catching an early morning
flight and then returning back
to Gdansk the same evening.
I’ll only need my laptop and
a couple of work documents,
so I’ll be travelling very light.
Wizz Air’s free small cabin bag
allowance (for bags smaller than
42
x 32 x 25cm) will be more than
sufficient to meet my needs.
to 32kg for checked-in bags, for
a fee, which means I can take as
many changes of outfits as I like,
and I’ll still have plenty of room
for holiday souvenirs, too!
