Dalí Exhibition
Until 25 March
He’s one of the most
controversial and exciting
artists of the 20th Century, so
it’s no surprise that exhibitions
devoted to surrealist master
Salvador Dalí tend to draw big
crowds. This retrospective at
the Pompidou Centre, which
opened in November, is no
exception. Dalí devoted much
time to the French capital,
so it’s fitting that Paris hosts
such a large-scale exhibition.

are sculptures, paintings (such

Gingerbread City
Until 31 December
There’s something about the
aroma of baked gingerbread
that says Christmas. So if
you head to Bergen this
December, you’ll certainly be
feeling festive. For the past
20
years, this has been the
month when locals create
their own tasty town made
entirely from gingerbread,
known as Pepperkakeby. Expect
miniature houses, churches,
Christmas trees, trains, ships
and cars at this feast for the
eyes. But no, sadly, you’re not
allowed to eat it.
