FUNTOJAPAN
Cebu Pacific Air (CEB),
the Department of
Tourism (DOT) and the
Tourism Promotions Board
(TPB) were at the Japan
Road Show to promote
the newest Japan- and
Philippines-related travel
and tourism products.
The Japan Road Show,
a Philippine product
presentation for the
Japanese market, was held
in Osaka, Nagoya and
Tokyo last January. The
road show highlighted the
new direct flights between
the Philippines and Japan,
Manila-Narita and Manila-
Nagoya (set to launch on
March 30), as well as the
frequency increase on the
Manila-Osaka route, from
thrice weekly to daily.
Three hundred
representatives from the
Embassy of the Republic
of the Philippines in Japan,
the Philippine Consulate
General in Osaka-Kobe,
key local government unit
councils, airport authorities,
Filipino community leaders,
and corporate, trade and
media partners attended
the road show.
The delegation from
the Philippines was led by
Candice Iyog, CEB VP for
marketing and distribution,
and Domingo Ramon
Enerio III, chief operating
officer of the TPB.
To allow passengers to
take advantage of the new
service, CEB also sold seats
for as little as PHP99 during
the road show. The efforts
were in support of DOT
and TPB’s promotional
activities, designed to
encourage travel between
Japan and the Philippines.
These include making it
faster, cheaper and more
convenient for Japanese
travellers to explore the
Philippines and boosting
trade opportunities between
the two countries.
Cebu Pacific Air goes all out to
make sure your vacations are
as fun as they can be. Beyond
offering the lowest year-round
fares and holding seat sales,
CEB has an extensive network
and offers premium products
and services for guests to enjoy.
While booking online, make

excess baggage
service, which
is 72%

even buy TravelSure insurance.
If you’re bringing sports
equipment, the airline will
handle up to 15kg of your
equipment for a minimal fee.
You can save up to 85% with

in your equipment as excess
baggage on selected routes.

via CEB Air Wi-Fi or shop for
souvenirs or

at the
Fun Shop. You can also join in
the Fun Games.
CEB recently teamed up
with Avis, one of the world’s
best-known car-rental brands.

the way for savings on Avis
rentals, online access and the
increased availability of world-
class products and services,
including a wide range of well-
maintained, late-model vehicles
along with premium chauffeur
and transfer services.
If you’re a frequent flyer, join
the CEB Club, which allows
you to store your personal and
payment details for a faster and
easier booking process and take
part in exclusive seat-sale alerts,

Club members can also self-
manage their travel funds, which
function like a virtual wallet for
the value of unused airline
tickets.
Business
travelers,
meanwhile,
can sign up
for CEB BIZ.
The airline’s
corporate
and
government
sales team
lets companies
max out their travel
budgets. Book Cebu
Pacific Air flights using Sky

using pre-approved credit
lines and transferable bookings
among other perks.
Beyond all that, CEB offers
the most extensive cargo

airline has also partnered with
Ticketworld for tickets to shows
