Ging Canlas
The weather was dark and rainy, bathing the Tirta Empul
in a rather gloomy light. But that didn’t keep Ging from
snapping this eye-popping image of mother and son
engaged in silent prayer at the temple’s inner sanctum. The
choice of this brightly colored subject was perfect, giving the scene a much-
needed burst of life. The reflections on the wet ground also added a glistening
foreground to this memorable shot.
