Coron is all about snorkeling
and diving in many areas of the island,

Siete Pecados or Twin Lagoon. You can
also try fish feeding and swimming in
Skeleton Wreck and enjoy its blue-green

Maquinit Hot Spring.

Spanish-inspired Sophia’s Garden Resort.

Go to El Comidor Sophia Bar and
Restaurant and try their chili crab, grilled
tanigue and other seafood specialties.

You can purchase Palawan’s

market in Coron.
MUST-TRY
Aside from diving, climbing
the 700-plus steps of Mount Tapyas is a
must. The view from the top is amazing.

Most hotels in Palawan
can arrange to have you picked up at the
airport. Tricycles to the city center cost
about PHP35. Vans are also available for
hire and are not too costly.
SEE &DO
The Underground River in
Sabang, which is a 90-minute drive from
Puerto Princesa, is worth the trip. Also,
rent a tricycle or join a city tour for a visit
to the crocodile farm, Iwahig Prison and
Baker’s Hill. End the day with a seafood
dinner in the middle of Puerto Princesa
Bay facing the Baywalk.
SLEEP
Sheridan Beach Resort is highly
recommended. It’s quite pricey, but worth
it.
EAT
For great seafood and cozy
ambiance, go to KaLui restaurant. For a
more affordable option, go to Kinabuch.
SHOP
Grab some souvenir items like
keychains and other trinkets from the
shops at the airport.
INSIDER TIP
When going to the airport,
walk along Rizal Avenue and check out
the handicrafts while waiting for check-in.
