Sights
to Thai for
The latest Smile PhotoTreks lands in the Kingdom
of Thailand’s capital city for a four-day snap-fest
of all things holy, gilded and grand.
Lester V. Ledesma leads the pack
THIS WAS A LAND
filled with both
foreign and familiar sights.
Initially Thailand, with its
warm sunny weather, felt not
much different from our native
Philippines. Yet it didn’t take
long for our group to realize
that we were, indeed, in
a different world. Fresh
from a three-hour flight,
our PhotoTrekkers
were raring to sample the charms of
the Kingdom of Siam. Like in our
previous trips, the goal was to
photograph this country in a way
that only avid shutterbugs can.
With cameras in our hands
and unbridled curiosity in
our heads, we set out to
capture the best angles
this ancient, exotic
land has to offer.
