Virginia macaroni surprise
In a bowl, mix 4 to 6 Virginia Hotdogs
(
cooked and cut into bite-size pieces), 2
cups cooked macaroni noodles, 6 Tbsps
nonfat sour cream, 6 Tbsps pickle relish
and a handful of chopped or grated celery
or carrots. Sprinkle with grated cheese,
then season with salt and pepper. Chill
in the refrigerator, and then take out right
before you leave. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Toss Virginia cocktail hotdogs
in a heated pan, with 1 to 2
Tbsps of olive oil. Transfer
hotdogs onto a paper towel
to drain oil, then skewer onto
barbecue sticks with slices of your
choice of vegetables — think red
and yellow peppers, onions or even sliced
pineapple. Serve with ketchup.

Bacon wrapped dogs in a
blanket
You’ll need 12 to 24 cocktail hotdogs
(
depending on how many servings you
need) and 4 to 8 strips of bacon. Preheat the
oven to 190˚C. Prepare the bacon by slicing
each strip into three equal parts. Take each
piece of bacon and wrap it tightly around
each sausage. Place all pigs in a blanket side
by side on a baking tray, and cook for 30
minutes or until they are golden in color.
