STEADY PACE
I went to Bohol when I was a kid and never forgot it. The famous Chocolate Hills is a sight
to behold. Dining on buffet food while calmly cruising along a peaceful river and being
serenaded with live folk music on the Loboc River Cruise is an experience you wouldn’t
want to miss. It was simply beautiful. The beaches are amazing as well!
DOESN’T FEEL
LIKE WORK
When we were shooting “The Happy
Filipino” videos, it took us five days
of road tripping through the North. It
was exhausting but definitely fun and
worthwhile. We got to show not just the
natural beauty of the Philippines, but also
its true treasure: the people. Department
of Tourism Secretary Jimenez loved it!

IDEAL GETAWAY
The Enchanted River in Brgy Talisay,
Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur was enchanting
to say the least, with its clear blue waters
and a hole that’s around 80ft deep. Fish
are aplenty in the river as well.
ONLY IN DAVAO
Davao is surrounded by beautiful
mountains and white-sand beaches, all
within minutes of the city center. The
people are nice. Taxis give exact change.
The air is cool… The list is endless. It’s
the land of kings: the king of birds (the
Philippine Eagle) and the king of fruits, the
durian. I love Davao.
