Cebu
The gateway to the best riding in
Cebu is up in Ayala Heights, via the
Transcentral Highway, less than 15km
from the city’s outskirts in Busay. From
here, riders can choose a more scenic
route down Brgy Guba. Technical
descents, rough and rocky terrain, and
singletrack trails are also accessible
for those looking to challenge their
riding skills. Routes such as Kan-Irag
and La Tegola-Budlaan are local
favorites because of the varied scenery
that, according to Cebu-based cyclist
Mike Flores, includes waterfalls,
river crossings and wild owls. For
maximum fun, Mike recommends a
full-suspension MTB. The rides here
are varied, and you can have an hour-
long quick spin, or even a half-day
adventure.
