East Coast Park
This coastal destination, roughly a
20-minute drive from the Central
Business District, is a local weekend
favorite. Apart from the fitness buffs
who are constant figures, entire families
flock to this stretch to either picnic
under the shade of palm trees, indulge
in fresh seafood at any of the dining
outlets, or get the most out of a breezy
afternoon on a bike or rollerblades.
The East Coast Park is lined with a
diverse gallery of sporting, dining
and recreational activities, among them
the Xtreme SkatePark designed for
adrenaline junkies.
But for those who like it easy and
mellow, there are bike and rollerblading
lanes, volleyball courts and 15km
jogging paths, along with rental
shops for sporting equipment such as
skateboards, bikes and rollerblades.
