JAKARTA IS
busy and ever-lively
— and just a tad too exciting at
times. Indeed, some days we just
need a respite from all that sensory
stimulation. For most Jakartans, this
means a quick getaway to the highland
city of Bandung. Nestled within the
Parahyangan Mountains, this place
enjoys cooler weather and a host of fun
diversions for work-weary urbanites.
Though it takes a three-hour road trip to
get here, and at least three days to fully
enjoy its charms, our must-do list for a
perfect weekend makes it all worth it.
