HEADS UP!
Before you go, check for
the weather online and pack
along a windbreaker with a
hoodie — mid-year usually
brings in a light breeze
and sudden rain
showers!
Stone temple
perfect
Breeze through the scenic and majestic
temples of Angkor in style and comfort
1
Travel light
Angkor in June and July usually has
milder weather, but the stone temple
town is still generally warm that time of year.
Light fabrics in cotton or linen are perfect
for beating the heat. Orange cotton dress
by Sunkissed, PHP650, and green cotton
tank top, PHP350, both from Robinsons
Department Store.
2
Bottom’s up
Some areas inside the temple
forbid visitors wearing shorts
from entering, but nothing could be more
comfortable to wear when clambering up
the stone ruins. Tip: Use a wide shawl as
a cover-up skirt while inside those areas.
White shorts by Jag, PHP899.75, from
Robinsons Department Store.
3
Protect yourself
Sunblock is essential protection
against the sun, but you’ll need
a scarf to cover your face while walking
through dusty areas on especially dry days.
Scarf from Old Market, Siem Reap.
4
Choose your color
Look better in your souvenir snaps.
Warm shades such as orange and
mustard mixed with your neutrals help you
stand out amid all the gray tones. Bridget’s
Closet mustard top, PHP400, from
Robinsons Department Store.
