NAHM
YUM!
Since Nahm
opened at the
Metropolitan in
Bangkok, the
award-winning
restaurant has
been garnering rave
reviews from residents and
expats. But recently, it became Thailand’s
first ever restaurant to earn a place in the
prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants
Awards sponsored by San Pellegrino.
Nahm is helmed by Australian chef David
Thompson, who accepted the award at
Guildhall, London. “I am delighted to
receive this accolade, which recognizes the
lengths we go to here at Nahm to deliver
Thai food. This also acknowledges the very
hard work of all the staff,” says Thompson.
Their specialties? Try the coconut and
turmeric curry of blue swimmer crab, and
the stir-fried frog with chilies and cumin
leaves.
