We might as well give our cover shoot expedition to Cambodia the
tagline: You Siem Reap what you sow. To get the perfect shots of the
newest South-East Asian destination in our network, we woke up at 3am,
rushed out of the hotel at 4am, and were at Angkor
,
s gates before the
break of dawn, each one draped with kits of equipment and blinking off
sleep. It was worth all the effort — sunrise at Angkor Wat, during which
a crowd watches in awed solemnity as the temple forms a silhouette
against the bright orange sky, is pure elixir for the
soul. And after all the grueling work of shooting
three temples in the punishing heat (yup, 36ºC),
we , ve put together a
cover feature — and a
double issue — we , re
truly proud of. Enjoy!
