At the Mactan Airport, it’s pretty
easy to hire a taxi service or even a private car
to take you to the city center. If you’re staying for
more than a few days, you can hire a car for that
time. There are metered cabs by the terminal too.

Head north of Cebu to Liloan and enjoy
a fresh catch of seafood at Co Jordan’s Bangus
and Talaba Farm. While waiting for your food to

You can take a tricycle from right
outside the airport to the town center for about
PHP50, inclusive of tip. To get around town, you
either walk or take tricycles, which are cheap and
easy to find.
BY DAY
Take an island trip to Islang Puti for its
white sand. There’s also the Inasakan Beach in
Iling Island, a small cove with powdery sand and
serene waters — excellent for swimming, partying
or even meditation.

The town plaza is the most popular
place for promenading because the ambience is
casual and relaxing. It is perhaps one of the best
town parks in the country today, with its acacia
trees, manicured gardens and playground.
