Dreams &
Reality: Masterpieces of Painting, Drawing and Photography
from the Musee
d’Orsay, Paris, you can admire 145 salon, realist, impressionist and post-
impressionist works — and engage your artsy side in two different activities.
Bring your pencils and paper and join the Informal Sketching Sessions on
weekdays (excluding the museum’s Open House Days), 10am–6pm at the
Exhibition Galleries on the Basement Level. The activity is free, but the S$11
(PHP367) admission fee to the exhibit applies. Prefer to be sketched instead? If
you’re outgoing, enjoy meeting new people, can pose standing or sitting for at
least 15 minutes at a time, want to be dressed up in costumes and can commit to
a 90-minute sketching session on Tuesdays or Thursdays, then sign up to be an

(USS) launching of Transformers The Ride last month. The world’s first theme park attraction
based on Hasbro’s iconic Transformers brand, the thrilling spectacle showcases the most
advanced entertainment where you can immerse yourself in the story in 3D. Michael Bay,
director and executive producer of the
Transformers
blockbuster movies, worked as the
creative consultant for the ride — and attended the debut of the ultimate 3D battle in USS’s
