TOUCHDOWN
You can hire a taxi at the airport
for PHP100–200. When in the city, you can get
around by tricycle or jeepney. Try hailing a cab,
although there are only a few taxis that make the
rounds about town.
BYDAY
Take a trip to the nearby town of
Midsayap, which is 45 minutes away from
Cotabato City. Also go to Kiwa, an adventure park
where you can swim at the pool, do the zipline or
just take it easy.
BYNIGHT
Feast on the local cuisine or dine at
the various grill places that are open at night.
After dinner, grab a beer and just chill. Or soak
up Cotabato culture by striking up a conversation
with the locals.
SLEEP
If you want something affordable and
comfortable, choose El Manuel Hotel. It’s a clean,
no-frills hotel that’s close to a major shopping
center.
