The airport in Cauayan opened
in 2008. Upon landing, ask the Cebu Pacific
staff for advice regarding transport to get to your
lodgings. Buses and jeepneys travel from the
airport to town.

Cauayan is the gateway to the Queen
Province of the Philippines, Isabela. Visit the
Magat High Rise Dam in Ramon, Asia’s biggest
dam project at the time of its construction, and the
Sta. Victoria Caves in Ilagan.

Try crocodile sighting at night at San
Mariano, Isabela, which is about an hour away
from Cauayan City. San Mariano’s known for
the Philippine crocodile, bat caves and rare bird
species. There are forested mountains too.
