Showing his acting
skills at Davao

LIVING IN A MOVIE
I think my heart beats faster when I’m
in Hong Kong — it has that colorful and
energetic vibe. Many of my favorite films
were made here, like Wong Kar Wai’s
In the
Mood for Love.
I got to see the restaurant
where one of the film’s scenes was shot.“
CROCODILE ROCK
Davao was such a blast! I
went to Crocodile Park and
had some mangosteen —
my favorite fruit.“
SUMMER STAPLE
I feel summer is not complete without
going to Boracay. The beach is nice in the
daytime, but you should really go there
for some late-night burgers and banana
shakes with friends.“
TWO VACATIONS IN ONE GO
I’ll never get tired of going to Baguio. I
like their strawberry
taho.
La Union is also
pretty close by, and the surf season brings
in a lot of cool people. This is the perfect
time and place to get a Facebook profile
picture of yourself trying to be a surfer.“
SCENIC STOPS
Ilocos Norte is just beautiful.
There are so many places to see
and fun things to do. I went to
Pagudpud, did sand-boarding,
climbed up the lighthouse and
took “jump” photos by the Bangui
windmills. I shot my 2011 calendar
in the secret Ilocos waterfalls. I also
got to meet Gov. Imee Marcos, who
toured me around the Malacañang
of the North. I made videos for
the Ilocos Norte Tourism Board —
check them out on YouTube.“
