a special economic zone, accredited by
the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
Presidential Proclamation No. 407 specifically
highlights the project’s use for “tourism, IT and
retirement,” further establishing the township
as a top-notch cyber park and a futuristic
lifestyle haven in Cebu.
Several world-class projects, including the
Mactan Richmonde Hotel, are in the pipeline.
These establishments are a pleasing contrast
to the range of beach resorts in Mactan Island,
