TOUCHDOWN
Taxis are available both at the
airport and Dapa Pier. You can also ride a
habal-
habal
or an extended-seat motorbike to get to your
lodgings. There are mini and jeepney buses on the
island itself.
BYDAY
There are several places to go to if you’re
coming from the municipality of Del Carmen. You
can rent a boat and roam the mangrove forest, truly
a delight to birdwatchers. You can also visit the
beaches in Caub during high tide.
BYNIGHT
Siargao nightlife is pretty laid-back,
so don’t expect noisy bars and restaurants with
loud dance music. Nature is the main attraction,
so wherever you are on the island you can just sit
back and stargaze.
SLEEP
Inexpensive accommodations are available
along General Luna and Cloud 9. Pansukian
Tropical Resort is a bit pricey, but totally worth it.
