At a glance
Croatia isn’t big – it’s
only the 127th largest
country in the world
–
yet it has almost
6,000
km of coastline.
Less than a third of the
country’s coastline is
on the mainland; there
are 1,246 islands
and islets.
Between May and
October, the average
daily temperature on
the coast rarely falls
below 20°C or rises
above 30°C.
Norwegian flies to five
destinations in Croatia:
Zagreb, Split, Pula,
Dubrovnik and Rijeka.
The Croatian tourist
board currently
advertises the coast
with the slogan, “The
Mediterranean as it
once was.”
From Istria in the north to Dubrovnik in the south, the pristine
beaches and rustic towns of the Adriatic coast are on the up and
up. If it’s good enough for Prince Harry and Beyoncé…
