to install satellite-basedWi-Fi on our aircraft, both domestic and international. You can
follow our installation progress at united.com/wifi.
To determine if a flight offers UnitedWi-Fi , you can check the Inflight Amenities tab on the Flight
Status & Information page for an upcoming flight, look for the Wi-Fi logo on the side of the plane as you
board or listen for the announcement by your flight crew once your flight has reached 10,000 feet.
UnitedWi-Fi provides free access to united.com, the United app and the UnitedWi-Fi portal for live
flight tracking, destination weather reports and more. Pricing for Internet access will vary based on the
length of the flight.
How to connect to UnitedWi-Fi:
1. Select network:
Once your flight crew
says that it’s safe to
use portable electronic
devices, turn on
your Wi-Fi-enabled
device and select
the “United_Wi-Fi”
hotspot.
2. Visit the
UnitedWi-Fi portal:
Launch your device’s
Internet browser. If you
are not automatically
directed to the United
Wi-Fi portal, enter
“

in your browser’s
address bar.
3. Purchase access:
Select an Internet
access option and click
“Purchase access.”
