The
Tall Tales
Of
Fundy
Whether you kayak the world’s highest
tides or enjoy an action-packed whale
watching excursion on a Tall Ship, you’ll
have plenty of lofty tales to tell about
your trip to New Brunswick.
Create your epic adventure with the
many extraordinary experiences
ǯ Ƥ Ƥ
Fundy, a true natural wonder
that caught the world’s attention as a

good company with the Grand Canyon
and the Great Barrier Reef. It’s a one-of-
a-kind phenomenon that has to be seen
to be believed - 100 billion tons of water
moving back and forth twice a day.

Maine and you’re just a quick hop north
across the border. Just a short drive from
Moncton, Hopewell Rocks, is a popular
park where you come face to face with
the true impact of the four-story tides.
At low tide, you can walk on the ocean

formations shaped by nature. Six hours
later you can kayak in that same area,
among what now look like small treed
islands.
Continue along the coast, and
experience the thrill of a lifetime at

The Cape House Restaurant features
favorite dishes with a local twist,
including lobster poutine and lobster
mac & cheese. Even dogs can enjoy a
treat - lighthouse-shaped cookies.
Nature abounds in New Brunswick and
you’ll have a front row seat camping at
Fundy National Park or exploring one
of the last remaining coastal wilderness
areas in North America via the Fundy
Trail.
Next stop, Saint John, Canada’s
oldest incorporated city and part of
the Stonehammer GeoPark, North

recognized by UNESCO.
There’s always something special
about a ferry ride and it’s all part of
the fun when you venture to The
Fundy Isles. Grand Manan Island is
truly a birdwatcher’s paradise, as John
James Audubon attested. Campobello
Island is where the late President and
Mrs. Roosevelt spent many a blissful
summer. Deer Island is home to Old Sow
Whirlpool, the largest tidal whirlpool in
the Western Hemisphere.
The picture pretty town of St. Andrews-
by-the Sea is the perfect playground
for waterfront recreation and a popular
launching point for bountiful whale
watching tours. You can even take an
epic bike tour wearing a kilt.
