here. Soon MileagePlus members will
enjoy the benefits of the world’s most
rewarding loyalty program: more world-
wide destinations, more comfort and more
ways to earn and redeem award miles.

your miles
Deadline to link accounts: Jan. 28, 2012
If you have both a MileagePlus account
and a OnePass® account, link them
at united.com/linkmyaccounts before
Jan. 28, 2012. Linking your accounts now
will allow you to transfer miles between
accounts to earn awards faster on
either United or Continental. Plus, it will
help ensure a smooth transition to the
MileagePlus 2012 program. If you have
only one account, there’s nothing you
have to do.
Building MileagePlus 2012
All the features and benefits of the
MileagePlus 2012 program will take
effect late in the first quarter of 2012.
Until then, elite-status benefits will be
extended under the 2011 MileagePlus
and OnePass programs unless otherwise
noted. Once the MileagePlus 2012 pro-
gram is in effect, OnePass members will
be enrolled automatically in MileagePlus.
OnePass reward miles, upgrades and
elite qualifying activity will be replaced
with an equivalent grant of MileagePlus
award miles, upgrades and Premier®
qualifying activity.
New status-level names
Beginning late in the first quarter of 2012, MileagePlus will adopt new status-level
names and terms for qualifying miles and segments. They are:

Here is just a sample of the 2012 benefits for MileagePlus Premier members.
These benefits will take effect late in the first quarter of 2012.
New booking-class bonuses
When you purchase first, business or full-fare economy tickets, you’ll earn more award miles
with our increased bonus structure. In addition to your normal flight miles, you can earn up to
150 percent additional bonus award miles on the new United (including Continental), Copa
Airlines and select partner airlines.
