seroberfläche. Die größten Fische der Welt ernähren sich hauptsächlich von Plankton. Dieses mit zwei-
einhalbMetern relativ kleine Jungtier ist gerade noch imLicht eines starken Scheinwerfers zu erkennen.
Whale sharks in the Gulf of Tajura near Djibouti come close to the surface at night to hunt for food. The
largest fish on the planet, they feed principally on plankton. A flash would have disturbed the shark so this

m-long youngster was lit with a movie light mounted on the photographer’s boat.
