nika und Lajos aus Buda-
pest nach Niedersachsen geführt .
Lajos ist nicht nur ein erfolgreicher
ungar ischer Geschäf tsmann, son-
dern auch eine internat ionale Grö-
ße im Rei tsport : Er fährt sei t rund
zehn Jahren bei Turnieren er folg-
reich Vierspänner. In Hannover hat
er gemeinsam mi t seiner Lebens-
gefähr t in Veronika das bekannte
Reit- und Fahrturnier German Clas-
sics besucht , „um zu sehen, wie
sich meine Konkurrenten so schla-
gen“, wie er sagt . „Die Show war
tol l , unser Ausf lug hat s i ch ge-
lohnt .“ Der 34-Jähr ige ist dieses
Mal nicht selbst an den Start ge-
gangen, so dass die beiden als Zu-
schauer ein entspanntes Wochen-
ende am Pa r cou r s ve r b r i ngen
konnten. Die Gegend um die nie-
dersächsische Hauptstadt ist für
ihre erstklassige Pferdezucht be-
rühmt. Kein Wunder, dass die bei-
den Pferdenarren nicht zum ersten
Mal hier sind. „Wir sind vor Kurzem
her gef logen, um uns Pferde anzu-
sehen und schl ießl ich auch zu kau-
fen“, erklär t uns Veronika. „Die
D i r ek t ve r b i ndung mi t Ge rman-
wings von Budapest nach Hanno-
ver ist für uns wie geschaffen.“

Veronika and Lajos are passionate
about horses. So much so, the couple
have flown all the way from Budapest to
the famous German Classics riding and
driving tournament in Hannover. Their
mission? Just to “check out the
competition,” says Lajos.
Lajos is not only a high-powered
Hungarian businessman, he’s also big
name in international equestrian sport,
and has been successfully competing
as a four-in-hand carriage driver for
around a decade.
“The show was great. Our trip was
really worth it,” says Lajos.
The 34 year old wasn’t on the
racetrack this time, so the couple got to
spend a relaxing weekend watching the
event. The area around Lower Saxony’s
capital is famous for its high-class horse
breeding, so it’s no wonder that this isn’t
the horse-loving couple’s first visit. “We
recently flew over to have a look at the
horses and, of course, buy them,” says
Veronika. “It’s as though the
Germanwings direct connection from
Budapest to Hannover was made
especially for us.”
