celebrate
saint efisio
with cagliari
and sardinia
May 1–4, 2013
Saint Efisio’s day combines devotion, culture and traditions.
Thousands of men, women and children walking in procession dressed in traditional
costumes. With them, horsemen and ox-drawn carts adorned with flowers parade
through the crowded streets covered by petals.
Through the city they reach the sea, accompanying the journey of Saint Efisio with
the music of the ancient launeddas. It is a charming vision of colours, scents and
atmosphere that enhances the soul of the island.
Join us! We are waiting for you to celebrate together our faith and folklore.
