With abundant thermal water fuelled by our numerous volcanos
the Reykjavík capital area boasts 18 quality mostly outdoor
thermal pools. Each has a traditional swimming pool where you
can swim and play, but also a few “heitir pottar” - which literally
means “hot pots”. That´s where the locals meet to talk, think,
heal and relax.
