Golden Quadrangle
Check out Milan’s world-
famous fashion quarter. Known locally as the
Golden Quadrangle, the main streets are Via
Monte Napoleone, Via Sant’Andrea and Via della
Spiga. As well as boutiques, there are one or two
high-end art and antique dealers such as Subert
at 24 Via Santo Spirito.
Mantova
just a couple of hours from Milan by
rail or road, Mantova was key to the history of
Italian opera, and is known for its Renaissance
architectural treasures as well as its delicious local
cuisine including the fantastically creamy
tortelli
di zucca
, or pumpkin ravioli.
