On the city fringes lies this district
with its beguiling necklace of graceful old
castles. Once the homes of the local moneyed crowd,
they cut a striking presence overlooking the sea.

with happy hours at aroundmidnight (though times
vary each night, so ask at the bar). Get ready to party as
this is one of the funnest nights in the city.

Festival Toulouse D’été

Kicking off on 17July and running until 10
August, this event offers all kinds of music: classical,
jazz, worldmusic, rock or French ballads in venues all
over town. It’s a great time to be in the city to really
see it at its best and people out on the streets enjoying
various free, and charged, cultural highlights.
