TRAVELLER
WE’VE RECEIVED LOADS
of entries for
our first photography competition, which
closed on 31 December. While we decide
on the winner – to be announced in our
February issue – we wanted to commend
four of the best, with some tips for
getting the perfect winning shot...
1
John Rees’watery moment, taken in
south-west England, captures a dynamic
holiday moment. It would have been nice
to see more of their faces, but we love
that it’s full of excitement and energy.
2
Fabienne Farsi’s snap of Barbara Longo
in front of the BerlinWall caught our
attention for its fun use of surroundings
as a quirky backdrop. Adifferent angle
might have helped to capture the
spontenity of the moment.
3
We loved the humour in Jingyi Hu’s
holiday snap fromher trip to Marrakech
in Morocco, and the light is excellent.
It’s always good to try to catch friends
by surprise when taking pictures like this.
4
This picture of Julien Bittner’s
holiday at Capo di Feno in Corsica was
commended for capturing the fun of
a family moment. In general, the more
people in a shot like this, the merrier.
The first submissions for our photo competition are in...
