each summer devoted to the culture of Argentina,

Leonardo’s Last Supper
Milan’s biggest
cultural icon is Leonardo da Vinci’s mural
painting of
The Last Supper.
The 15th-century
masterpiece, at the church of Santa Maria delle
Grazie, depicts the scene in which Jesus announces
that one of his disciples would betray him. You must
book your visit in advance, but in August queues
tend to be shorter.
Arco della Pace
Have a look at
Milan’s “Marble Arch”, the Arco della Pace, completed
in 1838, which stands at the north end of the Parco
Sempione. On summer nights, it’s a popular venue
for parties and informal concerts.
