in Gråbrødretorv, one of the prettiest and oldest
squares in central Copenhagen that is named after a
monastery built on the site in 1238. The menu offers

well as a surprisingly good salad buffet and rich puds
if you can find space.
K-Bar

place to go for cocktails with the Copenhagen
smart set, K-bar is achingly cool, teeny, nicely designed
and discreetly positioned down a cobbled street in the
centre of the city.

weather, take the train 80minutes north to
Hornbaek, a picturesque seaside village with a vast
sandy beach, shallowwater perfect for children,
ice-creambooths galore, pretty thatched cottages, a
harbour to wander around and plenty of good cafés
and bars.
